What does that even mean?

The world is full of problems.

And I like to solve some of them. This is a collection of work, notes, and thoughts on software, design, and the occasional rant or musing. I hope you find something worth opening.

A short introduction

Tobias Maneschijn

Full-stack software engineer, Copenhagen

I should probably introduce myself properly.

I'm Tobias, a full-stack software engineer based in Copenhagen. Most days I work in consulting, which means doing a lot more than just writing code. It usually involves moving between frontend and backend work, architecture, product conversations, and the practical job of helping teams turn messy requirements into something useful and reliable.

I keep coming back to the same kind of problems: tidy interfaces, small useful tools, and anything involving live or fast-moving data that still needs to make sense at a glance. That overlap between code, design, and clarity is probably the thread running through most of what I make.

This site is where the projects, notes, and the occasional half-finished idea end up once they are worth keeping around. Some of it is practical, some of it is exploratory, and some of it is just me trying to write a little more in public and see where that goes.

Mostly building software. Now also trying to write about it before I talk myself out of it.
